Amersfoort – Koppelpoort

[text_output]The Koppelpoort in Amersfoort is an amazing object to capture at night. This city gate has been here for ages. Used to keep attackers of the city outside. When unwanted visitors arrived by boat, guards would throw hot oil and peck on them from the windows above the gate.

[text_output]The above shot was made during one of my Night Photography workshops. Every week, BTL (Behind The Lenscap), will organise these workshops in a city in The Netherlands. When you are interested to join one of my workshops, keep track on the upcoming dates on this website.
